Hi I’m Andy Harrison, I first started in radio at Charles Darwin University back in 1997. I had a show called Friday Country. Since that time I am more actively involved in local community radio with three radio shows now on 8 CCC. At present I am doing studies and research in Screen and Media at CDU to improve my scope in the media industry. I’m a Territorian to the core! My shows showcase local talent, community groups, community events and issues that effect us all.

17 Dec 2021, 3pm Kyanne Cardona – From Alice to Melbourne Kyanne Cardona is a talented netball player in the NT competition. She appreciates that transitions can be a challenge for young people leaving the Northern Territory. She is now pursuing her dream of being a remote area nurse moving to Melbourne and studying at RMIT. Kyanne has learnt the sacrifice of leaving the NT lifestyle and family to fulfill her life ambition. It was important to acknowledge on the Brekky show the cost involved for many young Indigenous people leaving home to obtain a degree and career interstate.

Will is an Australian boxing promoter and retired super featherweight boxing Champion, based in Melbourne. He now views boxing from a different perspective from being a champion to a promoter. Rayne has the ability to tell emotional tales without sacrificing musicality, especially when he surrounds himself with some of the finest young touring musicians in the country to form the Jack Rayne Band. 14 Dec 2021, 10pm Eduardo Jordan – The Wire Eduardo is executive producer at The Wire, an independent current affairs radio program, and came to Alice Springs/Mparntwe to facilitate four days of community media training. He sat in on the Big Brekky Circus to witness the madness first hand and offer some feedback. He also generously submitted himself to an impromptu interview just for fun.
