Sisters in Law
Hosted by:Lauren Macauley
Tune in every Friday at 9am for Sisters in Law, a new program covering legal issues for women.
Sisters in Law is a community legal education initiative, aimed to increase legal literacy amongst the community, and raise awareness about our legal rights and what to do if things go wrong. We talk about legal issues affecting women, and the assistance available; and look at ideas and initiatives aimed to improve social justice outcomes for women both in our community and further afield.
Presented by Lauren Macaulay, the program is a collaboration between 8CCC and the Central Australian Women’s Legal Service, and produced in Alice Springs.
All legal information included in this show was current at the time of recording and is not a substitute for legal advice.
Women needing individual legal advice should contact CAWLS and arrange to speak with a lawyer.
