I present two programs and I am currently the Treasurer on the Board of Management for the station.

On Saturday mornings from 9am till 11am I produce and present one of 8CCC’s world music shows, The Big Bang Theory.  I started off in 2004, co-presenting and then taking alternating weeks on the program with Megg Kelham, and since 2008 have been flying solo.  I enjoy the opportunity to explore different countries and musical genres on the show, there is always something new to learn!  I’ve recently started posting the track listings and other bits of information about the performers and bands played on the show.  You can receive them via email if you sign up for emails and updates from our website.  

The women’s program Vashti’s Voice is one of the longest running shows on 8CCC-FM.  It is presented by a collective, and features news, views, talents and humour, plus live musical performances, poetry readings, discussions and interviews.  Currently the members are Kate Lawrence, Nadine Williams and myself.  We welcome women who are interested in learning about radio, have something to say, have some music or stories and written work to share … contact us via the 8CCC email address 8ccc@netspeed.com.au
