G’day, I’m Brett Forrester.  My wife and I have been on the road working and travelling for nearly 3 years now.  We have been together just on 35 years and have 3 children, 5 grandchildren and another due in early 2010.

As a cabinet maker I grew up in working environments where there was always a radio blasting out the latest and the greatest.  Over the years I have realised that most stations think the big hit bands eg ACDC, Cold Chisel, Eagles, Led Zeppelin – you get the picture – have only ever played 4-5 songs, cause that is all THEY play.  How refreshing to come to Alice, twiddle the dial and find 8CCC and hear all the different music the individual presenters are playing.  Then as a first ime volunteer apprentice radio presenter, find the station as that freedom about it.  Play what you like.  

I hope to be here for some time and would like to share my music with you.

I currently share presenting with Joy Taylor on The Big Bang Theory, Saturday mornings 9-11am.  So tune in, its lots of fun.  And if you have any particular world music you would like to hear, drop us a line and we’ll try to oblige.
