8CCC, community radio, in partnership with the Alice Springs Cinema present the landmark concert film, STOP MAKING SENSE from director Jonathan Demme and The Talking Heads, at the cinema on 18 NOV. The evening is a costume party Membership Drive happening with live music before the film. Come in your fav 80’s gear for a chance at some groovy prizes and become a member of 8CCC.  We mean shoulder pads …. the bigger the better!

Come see this remarkable concert film in surround sound and on the big screen and groove to the enormous energy and joyous highs of the Talking Heads live performance. Band members David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz and Jerry Harrison are joined by Bernie Worrell, Alex Weir, Steve Scales, Lynn Mabry and Edna Holt.
