Community Partnership with Incite Arts

Since 2004, Incite Arts has been enlivening Central Australia with a cornucopia of arts programs, events and ideas. A community-led organisation working with young people, people with disability, Aboriginal communities and other Alice Springs and central desert region communities, Incite Arts has evolved into a dynamic and prolific organisation and a cornerstone of our arts community. 8CCC is thrilled to announce a new Community Partnership with Incite Arts just as our town is gearing up for their new production Unbroken Land, presented in partnership with Red Hot Arts from 16-18 September at the Alice Springs Desert Park.

Unbroken Land will transform the moonlit promenade of the Desert Park with live and digital performance, music, dance and theatre installations celebrating ‘stories of connection to nature, place and belonging’. Created by local artists and communities, this will be a unique experience for audiences of all ages to share.

Recordings from 8CCC’s Many Voices One Place series, which explores the diverse tapestry of Alice Springs identities will feature at Unbroken Land, so be sure to listen out.

Unbroken Land is free but bookings are essential, and just like last year, this year’s event will sell out. For more information check the event page here, and to book head here.
